Pam Mackenzie
Pam has sat on a number of boards around the state, too, including with Vermont Public, the Vermont Telecommunications Authority, the Vermont Technology Council, the University of Vermont Health Network’s Home Health and Hospice and the Howard Center’s Substance Use Advisory Committee. She was at one time chair of the South Burlington City Council.
She is an honorary commander of the 158th Security Forces Squadron of the Vermont Air National Guard, through a program that connects with civilian leaders to increase public awareness about the U.S. Air Force.
Alex Rozek
Alex Rozek founded Mac Mountain because he wanted mobile broadband service where he lives in Vermont, and one thing led to another and here we are today.
In his day job, Alex is the Co-Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer of Boston Omaha Corporation (NYSE:BOC), a public holding company with businesses in advertising, insurance, broadband and a number of other investments. He also serves as the Managing Member of Boulderado Partners, LLC, a private investment partnership founded in July 2007. Alex also serves on the Board of Directors of Sky Harbour Group (NASDAQ:SKYH) and Dura Software.
Outside of business, Alex spends time working for the Doris Buffett Legacy Foundation, serves on the Brigham and Women’s Neurosciences Advisory Board, works on a number of different community projects in and around his home in Vermont, hikes, bikes and swims with his kids and Aussies, and occasionally likes piloting planes.
Alex graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry.

Sydney Atkins
Sydney is a Middlebury College graduate and former lacrosse player, who received her M.B.A. from the Alfred B. Sloan School of Business at MIT. Before joining Mac Mountain to advocate for wireless coverage for unserved and underserved Vermonters, Sydney was a consultant and strategic advisor for investment firms and family offices. She served as the Head of Private Wealth Management for Ellevest, working to build a dynamic impact platform while promoting equal access to capital and investment for all.
Sydney was previously the Founder and CEO of Synergy, Inc., which worked to empower women and girls through sport. She is an active board member of UAspire, a non-profit committed to college affordability, and SheGives, a venture philanthropy organization supporting Boston-area charities.
When not working at Mac Mountain, Sydney and her wife Caroline operate the Mountain Inn and Killington Distillery and enjoy skiing, sailing and kitesurfing.
Tevis Pieper
Tevis brings a demonstrated history of success in leading cross-functional teams and a unique blend of expertise in administrative services and operations in government, nonprofit, and corporate sectors. Prior to joining Mac Mountain, Tevis served as the Manager of Administrative Services within the Office of Communications, Education and Outreach at the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. He also served as Director of Systems and Growth for both the Letters Foundation and Learning by Giving Foundations based in Boston, MA. In a whole other life he managed global programs for the Engineering Education and University Relations teams at Google.
In 2020, he completed a beginning farmer academy that led him to serve on the Sacramento Food Co-op’s nomination committee for three years and volunteer with the Alchemist CDC Farmer’s Market program that is dedicated to making sure these markets are not just accessible, but affordable for low-income shoppers.
When he’s not focused on his work or volunteering, you’ll find Tevis outdoors exploring and hiking with his best friend the Australian Shepherd, Dozer the Dozarian. Because of this, we like to say that rather than herding cats, he herds Aussies. And while he hails from California, he’s got roots throughout New England and we’re excited to have him back.

Shanna O’Berry
Shanna has traveled all over the country, but counts herself fortunate to now live, work, and play in Vermont.
She has worked in philanthropy and higher education for more than 15 years. Shanna understands the importance of hearing from those she serves — students, nonprofits, and community members – to ensure their experiences and opinions drive the services and support they receive. She brings this same philosophy to her role at Mac Mountain.
In her free time, you can find Shanna shepherding her Aussies throughout Vermont’s natural playgrounds.

Now that he is with Mac Mountain, David is excited to connect with those in need of wireless broadband service to create a more equitable Vermont for all and improve both daily life and public safety across the state.
